Tire Recycling
Are you looking for a bike lane barrier that is flexible, less expensive per foot than similar existing products, and creates redemptive employment opportunities? Looking to get in as an early adopter of a new bike lane protection system? Our bike lane barriers made from scrapped tires may be a perfect solution for your next street improvement project. Please contact the BDC Business Hub to discuss purchasing these barriers for your bike lanes or roadway improvement project.
The BDC Business Hub is manufacturing bike lane barriers from blighted tires in the City of Memphis. In partnership with the City of Memphis Engineering Department and industrial artist Tad Pierson of Tire Art Design, the BDC Business Hub completed a recent project of 450 recycled tire bike lane barriers installed along the bike lanes of Broad Ave in Binghampton.
